Short Term Teams Philosophy
The purpose of short-term teams is two-fold:
1) To provide specialized services at Hope that we are not currently able to provide.
2) To enable churches in the U.S. and Europe to catch a vision for medical missions.
We attempt to not have short-term teams perform services that we are currently able to provide.
Hope Medical Center is about 900 km (700 miles) from the capital city. Because of the transportation, we try to limit a team to maximal 6 people.
